Mueller Gas. Also Painted Yellow and Also Embedded in the Sidewalk.
Hello, Everybody! Welcome to my blog. I've just got up and running, so there may be a few rough spots that need to be ironed out, like the spacing of paragraphs not showing up properly, but I will soon have those worked out. Thanks for having a look, a nice long read, and I hope you enjoy the content.

Yellow
Yellow Can on Dry Grass and Leaves. January 15, 2014.
When
I saw this bright yellow and red can, it was such a welcome pop of color in the middle of Winter.
We got very little snow. It was very dry this
Winter, but very cold, very windy, and very grey, and vry drab with all the leafless trees and dead grass. This was one of the warmer days.

Arizona Kiwi Strawberry Flat
Front and Back. I love finding flat cans on the ground and snapping a quick picture with my phone, especially when all or most of the logo is visible on one side.
Brandeis Neon. January 7 2014
The
Brandeis
Building
Neon
Sign.
They are fixing it! The letter
"N
" has been restored from its sagging state and the piping has been removed from the
"A
". It looks better than it did in
December. I wonder when they will be done fixing it.
I want to know what color the neon lights in this sign will be.
Caramel Apple Chapstick
December 30, 2013. This was at
Walgreens. It looked interesting.
I bought it. I like the green apple better than the caramel. Combining the flavors is not an improvement.

Boxing Day 2013: Brandeis Neon. Unlit. Broken.
I took this picture on my way home from work the day after
Christmas.
The state of the
Brandeis
Building
Neon is sad.
The "N" Is Sagging. The "A" Still Has Pipe, which needs to be replaced. December 26, 2013 at 5 P.M.

Christmas Eve 2013: Shasta Mountain Rush Flat
Freshly Flattened.
So thrilled ... my phone can't take a crisp, clear, focused picture to save its life, but it can take a great image after dark in a dimly lit parking lot between two cars with me between the phone and the only light source. During the day every picture comes out fuzzy.
With my Samsung
SC
H-R720,
I was used to taking crisp pictures where I can actually read the ingredients on squashed can labels, have clear definition on logos and signs, and actually see details when
I zoom in. This new phone, a
Cricket brand M
T, is really pissing me off with its poor photo quality.

Christmas Decorations Below 1st National Bank
December 2013. There are big concrete planters in the little plaza at the back door to 1st
National Bank at 16th
& Dodge in
Omaha. There's
Christmas decorations in them right now. Today is
February 14th, 2014. I took this picture in
before
Christmas 2013. There's a
Scooter's Coffeehouse down under the bank.
I've been getting coffee, usually a large Carmelicious, there a couple times a week since
October 2013. Before that,
I think I went in there twice in the last 5 years.
I don't know if the Christmas decorations in the plaza are a yearly thing.
